HA GIANG 01 DAY TREKKING TOUR

Option 01: Full day trekking 14 – 16km ~ 5 – 6hours, medium level. 04 different villages.

The tour guide will pick you up in Truong Xuan resort and then transfer about 10 kilometers by car through Ha Giang city to Ha Thanh, a large village of Tay people who live in spacious wooden houses built on stilts. We start trekking uphill through palm and tea forests, especially the large rice terraced fields for about 3 hours as you reach Lung Vai of the black Dzao people. Here you will visit some Dzao families, watching them perform their daily work and family life. After lunch with the local people with local food, the trail will be downhill for about 30 minutes to visit Khuay Mi which is also a Dzao village. You can enjoy your cultural discovery of local ethnic people as well as the breathtaking scenery of the Na Toong Valley. Keep walking downhill for about 2h30’ down to Ban Tha of the Tay people which is the last village on the tour. Back to Truong Xuan resort by car.

Option 02: Full day trekking 15 – 17km ~ 5 – 6hours, medium level. 04 different villages.
The tour guide will pick you up in Truong Xuan resort and then transfer about 09 kilometers by car through Ha Giang city to Ban Me is a village of Tay people to start for the trekking. Today is a full day trek uphill through terraced-rice fields, tea plantation, remote villages and thatched-roof homes of the Tay people in “ Thon Lup and Thon Trang village”. Enjoy the scenery and have picnic on the top of hill before visiting a village inhabited by the Dzao tribe in Cao Bo. In the afternoon it’s just easy walk down to Me village. This concludes the tour. Back to Truong Xuan resort by car.

Hagiang 02 days trekking tour
HA GIANG 02 DAY TREKKING TOUR

Day 01: Full day trekking 14 – 16km ~ 5 – 6hours, medium level. 04 different villages.

The tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and then transfer a few kilometers by car from Ha Giang city to Ha Thanh, a large village of Tay people who live in spacious wooden houses built on stilts. After breakfast at the homestay, say goodbye to the host then start off for the second day at around 8h30’a.m. Today is a full day trek uphill through terraced-rice fields, tea plantation, remote villages and thatched-roof homes of the Tay people in “ Thon Lup and Thon Trang village”. Enjoy the scenery and have picnic on the top of hill before visiting a village inhabited by the Dzao tribe in Cao Bo. In the afternoon it’s just easy walk down to Me village. This concludes the tour. Back to your hotel by car.

HA GIANG 01 DAY MOTORBIKE OR CAR TOUR
Ha Giang – Dong Van – Meo Vac Karst Plateau 01 day
Option 1: ( this option is for travelers with limited time )
Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Ha Giang ( drive 320km ).

Our local guide will be at your hotel bright and early to take you on your journey. Driving from Ha Giang along the winding QL4C, this undulating road goes through some of the most awe inspiring landscapes that Vietnam has to offer. The only UNESCO world heritage site in South East Asia has rice terraces that rival Sapa and beauty spots such as Heaven’s Gate, Bac Sum Pass, Fairy Mountain and especially an ethnic White H’mong village which specializes in weaving and embroidery.

On the outskirts of Dong Van, a palace created by King Vuong Chi Sinh represents the height of the H’Muong peoples power in the region and serves as a reminder of the ethnically diverse populous in northern Vietnam.

Dong Van offers a rest bite from travelling and local delicacies served up for lunch. After which a walk round this market town shows not only current, but ancient local commerce as well as the influence of the French colonial past.

Our local guide will then begin the journey home by taking you to Ma Pi Leng Pass, which has often been described as the most incredible valley in the region.
On the way back you will visit some of the other diverse ethnic villages with a rare opportunity to experience their individual customs before finally returning to Ha Giang.

Option 2: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van ( drive 150km ).

Our guide/driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Giang then depart to Dong Van. Drive on the undulating terrain, between 800m and 1 500m in height, through beautiful mountainous landscapes and terraced paddy fields. Have some stops for taking photo and visit the Heaven’s Gate, Bac Sum Pass, Fairy Mountain and especially a White H’mong village which specializes in flax weaving. Have lunch en route.

Afternoon visit some villages on the way. Visit the Vuong Chi Sinh’s Palace, a King of H’mong hill tribe before. Arrive Dong Van, check in the hotel then you have free time to discover the small ancient town. If the time is permit you could do a short trek to Don Cao is an ancient fortress built by French Colonialists during the occupation to control the area. Our tour finishes in Dong Van, so travelers have the option to stay in Dong Van for a few days to discover the area by motorbike, trekking or walking. After staying in Dong Van you can take the local bus which departs at 5 a.m, 11 a.m, 1 p.m from Dong Van back to Ha Giang ( Bus ticket 6usd only).

After that take a short walk to visit Lo Lo Chai which is a village of the Lo Lo people ( the Lo Lo people are one of Vietnam’s least-common ethnic minorities only living in this region), then drive to Ma Pi Leng Pass arguably the most beautiful landscapes in Ha Giang and also in Viet Nam. Stop in Meo Vac for lunch, afterwards head back to Ha Giang city, on the way you can visit some more diverse ethnic minority villages. Tour finishes at your address in Ha Giang city.
